Wanna see my next tattoo?

Is there anybody out there? Have you forgotten about me? Seriously guys, my sincere apologies for my absence around blogger-ville. I'm really trying to keep up...but it's not working very well, I'll admit.

I'm still dealing with this tooth. In fact, I drove 90 miles south to Charleston last week to see an endodontist who took care of the accessory canal and got me all ready for my permanent filling and restorative crown. Hopefully, in a couple months, this tooth with be nothing more than part of my history. I am SO TIRED of dealing with the darn thing.

As far as we know, everything involving the house is coming along well. If all goes as planned, we're looking at a closing date around April 30. I actually have some pictures now, so expect an upcoming reveal very soon. We had a lot of fun over the holiday weekend. Obviously, oodles of holiday pictures coming soon too.

Parker is on spring break this week. We had planned all sorts of little outings to celebrate...then our washer blew up and we're having to fork over $600 for a new one. Regardless, we are taking the kids to Columbus this coming weekend to see How To Train A Dragon on an IMAX 3-D theater. It will be Parker's first ever theater experience. In preparation, we bought a pair of ear muffs like you'd wear on a shooting range in case he can't tolerate the loud surround sound. I'm excited, as I've heard it's a really cute, fun movie.

The rest of the week, I'm going to be doing a thorough cleaning of the kids' rooms. I'm going to go through each drawer, every inch of the closet, inside the toyboxes...and anything that hasn't been played with or worn in months is going into the yard sale. I really want to limit the amount of stuff we have to move to the new house.

And now, how about I show you what you clicked on this entry to see in the first place? My latest ink!!! I went last week to check out the drawings my tattoo artist designed. My instructions to him included a pentacle which looks like wood, woven with classic white and yellow daisies. Here's what he came up with...I'm in love!

**Please note...a lot of the light shadowing didn't show up when the drawings were copied for me.**

Isn't it beautiful? I'm really happy with the final result and think it will be a lovely representation of my spiritual path, as well as my way of celebrating my year and a day milestone.

Okay, off to clean some bedrooms. Or, err, at least get started on cleaning bedrooms. :)

Have a wonderful week and expect some pictures very soon!

That is a fantastic design! and the perfect way to mark your year and a day. I've been thinking that it's time I did a year and a day. I've taken a few classes with the local Reclaiming group, read lots of books and articles and marked the turning of the wheel but haven't actually dedicated myself towards the year and a day of study as of yet. Soon though.

We have ear protectors for the Peanut. She seems to be pretty sensitive to loud noises like the vacuum cleaner and power tools. Daddy is also a musician and going to jams and rehearsals with him can be pretty loud. The nice thing about the ear muffs block out the really loud parts bu let you still hear. When we take the Peanut to her first movie we'll be taking the muffs too. Hope you have a great time

Hi Boo! sorry to hear about all that hassle with your tooth, nearly a distance memory though! sorry to hear about your washer too, three things have broken on me this month. My faithful computer, (on big big fellas) my phone and my printer just broke yesterday! Ah well, your new tattoo is lush! I can not wait to see the finished result! ((hugs))

I have been wanting to get a tattoo, too. I don't have any. Most of mine would be music or religiously related. My husband does NOT want me to get any. And I'm a needle phobe, so, who knows. LOVE the tat design! I can't wait to see the finished product!

Wow! Very cool Boo! I am still debating on what to get for a tattoo. I already know that I want at least one, and I think I want something nature or Asian - inspired (or both, such as a cherry blossom or peony), but don't know where to get it on my body!

Can't wait to see your end result!

Hey there, girl! I LOVE the new ink. Cannot wait to see the final result. I think it is the perfect way mark the special day. Glad to hear the house buying is going smoothly. I used to be a Realtor after I was an RN but before I began to make Wiccan goodies! What a checkered life I have lead. Don't forget to stop, take a deep cleansing breath, relax, let it out then start moving in warp-speed again! I don't know how you do all that you do.
Love, luna

Oh wow!!! I love it! What an awesome design. Very fem and goddess-like. I want another one, perhaps a triple moon thingy.

This is an awesome design. I wish I could find someone who could design the 'perfect' tattoo for me. Even if it is challenging to acquire, it will be worth it!
