Because they love me...
...and I love them too!
Just a quick entry to show off some of the new things I'll be happily toting to my new house in the upcoming months.
A few weeks ago, Jaz of October Farms, posted some pictures of vintage cards she'd made. As I gazed at the St. Patrick's Day inspired card, I found myself drooling. Okay, maybe not drooling, but definitely salivating. The card was just so me. Jaz had mentioned that after making all the cards, she often wasn't sure what to do with them. I suggested either selling them or perhaps including them in her many giveaways. I then told her I'd happily purchase her Irish card. Just a few minutes later, she messaged me privately asking for my address.
A few days after that....this arrived:

Do I even need to tell you this will be hanging on the wall in the new house? Thank you, Jaz. I couldn't love this card more if I tried. It's truly cherished.

After winning a giveaway at I'm Not Hannah, this gorgeous-ness arrived on my doorstep yesterday.

Seeds!!! Glorious, glorious seeds. Seeds of all kinds. Seeds which will hopefully help nourish my family in the months to come. I chose the Survival Pack from Hometown Seeds. Oodles of thanks to I'm Not Hannah and Hometown Seeds...I'm beyond excited to plant my very first garden. :)
More entries coming soon!

How cool is that? I've always got little containers of seeds around that I collect.
good for you! :-)
Jaz is amazing! Also, how awesome are those seeds?
We're excited about our first garden too. Last year's raspberries (which we took over when the old tenants left) are growing like mad and we're ready to turn over the soil one last time before we sew our seeds and seedlings.
I'm getting excited to see your new home
you have always been a lucky one... probably that shamrock that you so admire. It definately has given you luck on your path... although I could not think of anyone more deserving... enjoy..
Awesome!! Can't wait to see the new place!!!
Yeih! Is n't jaz the coolest?
By the way, your new tattoo will be awesome!
Whoa! That's a TON of seeds. I'm so jazzed for you. (GET IT??) Sigh. I really am happy, SS. You DO deserve it.
Very cool! I cant wait to see your new digs and garden!
INH...I know! I was expecting all these seeds. It's craziness.
How long are they viable in these little packages...anybody know?
And Jaz is just amazing. I adore her.
BTW, I apologize for the quality of the pictures...they're not very good at all. :(
