Meet Our Turkey-Peacock.....Parker Jr.

Last week, Parker's first grade teacher sent an 8 x 10 turkey picture home with instructions to decorate it however we saw fit. The key was to get as many family members to participate in the decorating as possible. Everybody who helped was instructed to sign their name beneath the turkey.

So yesterday, since Parker didn't have school in remembrance of Veteran's Day, my mom came to visit and we made the trek to Craft 2000 for supplies. Parker and Autumn picked out most of the items they wanted to use to decorate 'Parker Jr.'

Yes. Parker named the turkey Parker Jr.

After finally finding a glue gun and glue sticks, we paid for our purchases and headed home to create a gobbley masterpiece. Mom was in charge of the glue gun as the rest of us took turns carefully adding each decorative piece.

The end result?

It looked like a peacock.

But Parker was thrilled by the stunning good looks of Parker Jr., and even said, "Wow, check him out, maw-maw!"

So without further ado, dear friends, meet ::errr:: Parker Jr!!!

I also had to include this adorable picture of my little man doing his homework. He's so cute.

If your kids get any cuter, they will spontaneously combust.

You've been warned:)

I like you. I get this warm, blanketty feeling when you leave posts. You have a kind heart, and are a genuinely nice person, which, while not being extraordinarily odd, is definitely refreshing.

I'm so glad I found you!

I think Parker Jr. is the living image of Eclecticism! I love all his colors, but I'm particularly taken by his bi-colored eyes. You tell Parker, um... Sr. that he rocks!!

Just wanted to stop by and tell you that I dreamed that Parker Jr. was chasing me all over the house. I wasn't scare. I even knew it was Parker Jr. Actually, in my dream I kept on asking myself "How did Parker's turkey-peacock get to my house?"

Too weird, but funny!
